2000-2006 Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakademie Berlin (dffb), course of studies: Cinematography. Teachers: Michael Ballhaus, Ciro Cappellari, Hans Fromm, Martin Kukula, Sophie Maintigneux, Rali Raltchev and David Slama - amongst others.

2002 + 2005 visiting student at Michael Ballhaus's N.Y. movie sets of „Molly Gun“ and „The Departed“.

2005 Cinematography Masterclass / Budapest with Vilmos Zsigmond and John Schwartzman.

Since 2003 freelance Cinematographer.

Since 2013 guest lecturer at dffb (Deutsche Film und Fernsehakademie) and UdK (Universität der Künste).
